Exemptions from the need to have an appointment at the Embassy:

• Applications for a Short Term Visa with an Official Passport along with a Verbal Note;
• Applications on behalf of or on invitation of a German Government Organization (e.g. GIZ, DAAD, KfW) or the United Nations;
• Applications because of urgent Medical Treatment.
• Applications of Frequent Travelers (A frequent traveler is a person who travelled two (2) times to Schengen countries within last 24 months with two (2) short term visas OR a person who travelled one (1) time to Schengen countries within last 24 months with a long term visa and used it lawfully.)

In such a cases please hand in your visa application from Monday through Thursday between 08:00 and 10:00 am during the general opening hours of the Visa Section.
